Karen Carvajal hospitalized?

From latest reports we have word that COA soon to be star, Karen Carvajal (Pictured above) was admitted to Saint James Hospital early last night! We don't know why or what happened, but reports from an inside source tell us that she was heard going in complaining about stomach pains and cramps! One could easily say either bad food, or possibly an unknown pregnancy, or even a drug related issue! Best friend, Jorge Santovenia (Pictured here arriving at the hospital), refused to comment on the situation. It's hard to actually know what is going on. The section of the hospital has been closed off to visitors and paparazzi so we'll just have to wait! Don't forget that Karen has been dealing with big issues with her ex and has been partying a lot in a rumored attempt to forget about him. What ever the may be, keep her in your prayers! 

Show creator and Director for Coming of Age, Juan Eduardo Rodriguez has sent us a personal statement. "I don't know the extent of Karen's condition, but what I do know is that she is a strong individual and has just recently been going through a lot. I am almost certain that illegal drugs had nothing to do with her current condition..." - Juan Eduardo Rodriguez. Let's hope it's not drugs! We don't want to see her go through that route!

Photographer Hired for Coming of Age!

Great news! Maya G. from Redeyez Photography has been officially brought on board as the photographer for Coming of Age! And what's best about this is that it has been leaked out that the entire cast is scheduled to be at the photo shoot! Yes that's right, the ENTIRE cast. So we are pretty much thinking that the final two spots have finally been filled! We have our fingers crossed for Meredith Willenbrink and Anthony Galvez still!  On other news, best friends (supposedly) Karen Carvajal and Jorge Santovenia seem to have left Miami. Pictured here to the left, they were spotted in Times Square, New York. We're not too worried about this, we have it that production still has a few weeks to go so we just suspect they are up there for some free time. As for her ex boyfriend who lives in New York, there is still no word if they have met or not. Either way we just want them to come back down to Miami!

As for fellow co-star, Kristian Zambrana, he was spotted this past weekend on his yacht out of the port of Miami. He is seen here with close friend and actrees, Nicole along with their two other friends! They were kind enough to pose for a picture right before they sped off to deeper waters! 

As for singer/dancer Nadia Ferguson, we have a leaked photograph of her and director Juan Eduardo Rodriguez at what appears to be some sort of exclusive dinner party! Also rumored to have been at this party are fellow co-stars, AJ Miller, Manuel Rodriguez, Jesse Merced, and Kristian Zambrana.

As for latin heart throb, Ariam Machado, he was spotted taking a nap over at South Beach! I think we might have woken him up though (our screams of excitement and joy from seeing him left us screaming in excitment!)

TOO MUCH TO PICK A TITLE! Manuel confirmed and words from Eduardo!

Okay we're here trying to keep our cool but what we have to say is just too much to handle! First things first! 8 out of 10 confirmed for Coming of Age! Yes that's right! Juan Manuel Rodriguez has been confirmed as a cast member for COA! "After much negotiations, and scheduling conflicts, I have decided to walk off the theatre stage for a while and go over to the small screen..." - Juan Manuel Rodriguez. Well we're just glad to see Manuel be officially a part of the cast as this nearly concludes the cast of 10! 

And as if that wasn't enough, show creator and director, Juan Eduardo Rodriguez (Pictured here in his personal estate with two dogs) has put together a video for us fans! I know it's unheard of at such an early process of the show, but he has! Well we're not going to hold out on you anymore! Here it is, what he is calling it, "The Chronicles of: Coming of Age" ... Eduardo's own personal inside look on the hottest new show this year!

up to now Meredith Willenbrink, and Anthony Galvez are not confirmed on the cast yet! We hope

A.J. MILLER CONFIRMED!!!

It's been a few days since we last posted, we apologize for this but we were all in the hush hush on the gossip stirring about for Coming of Age...until now! We have official confirmation that A.J. Miller (Pictured here running away from the paparazzi) has officially worked out scheduling conflicts for COA and now is now commited to the show! If you hadn't heard, Miller was stuck on several scheduling conflicts surrounding some other projects he was tied to, but has made a clear effort to put his time into this show! That brings the show's official cast to 7 out of 10 confirmed.

As for Juan Manuel Rodriguez (Pictured posing for his of broadway show, "The End Has Come"), he is now in the dark and waiting to find out what is going on with his contract. His brother, Juan Eduardo Rodriguez, is pushing to have Manuel on the  show. We are pretty sure that Pro Rod Productions will definitely want and do anything to bring on the broadway super star, Manuel!

Now if  you have been wondering what was going on for the remaining two open slots for COA, so have we! It wasn't until just yesterday that a buzz on the final two cast member's was brought up!  First off we have up and coming new age star, MEREDITH WILLENBRINK (Seen here leaving the Hard Rock Hotel), better known for her ruthless comedic antics, has been rumored to be in talks with Eduardo about a slot in the cast of COA! We're keeping our fingers crossed!!

                                            

 As for the other rumored cast member to join the list is Brazilian hunk, ANTHONY GALVEZ (Seen here popping his collar walking into an exclusive party out at South Beach)! This model turned actor comes to us out of the heart of Miami and has been seen talking with Eduardo over at Pro Rod Production's studio! We're hoping this goes through because come on! A Brazilian model...need we say any more??

2 more confirmed for COA! Part 5

The show is coming together as the actors are all gathering in Miami, Florida to meet with director Juan Edaurdo Rodriguez. Kristian Zambrana, Nadia Ferguson, Karen Carvajal, and Jorge Santovenia have all met up with Pro Rod Productions to get some group time with Eduardo (We're so excited that it's all coming together!).

As exciting as that sounds, we have incredible news for the show! Actor/model Jesse Merced (Pictured here leaving the Chris Brown Concert) has officially joined the cast of COA! He is scheduled to meet with the cast and director in one week! This will give him enough time to wrap up last responsibilities to his hit show, "Wonderful World of Bobby." Jesse is excited to be on board on a new project, "...Wonderful World of Bobby was an incredible experience and it did a lot for my career, and while it is sad I'm leaving the show, I'm just excited to join this new cast..." - Jesse Merced.

 The other actor locked in for the show is Spanish Soap Opera star Ariam Machado (Pictured here in South Beach)! His lawyers met with Pro Rod Productions and discussed contracts and were able to quickly work out a deal! This will be Ariam's first cross over into American television. We were able to get from a source what his biggest fear was, "...I just hope the American's love me and understand my English!.." - Ariam  Machado.  We're sure he'll do just fine!

 The two that are starting to worry us now are A.J. Miller, who seems to still be trying to work out scheduling conflicts for the show, and Eduard's twin brother, Juan Manuel Rodriguez (Pictured singing a venue in New York), who from what sources say, he is waiting now to hear from Pro Rod Productions as to whether or not they can work out his pay for the show! Let's just hope this decision is finally made! We want to see him on this series!

Nadia Ferguson Confirmed!!!

 Yes you heard right! Nadia Ferguson, after much negotiations and contracts, has finally and officially been added to cast of COA! Nadia has already flown in to Miami, Florida and has met show creator and director Juan Eduardo Rodriguez. We are very pleased to see Nadia join the cast seeing how it has been over a year since we see her work on any projects. Although known more as a dancer and a singer, this will be Nadia's first major role on a mini series! 

We had a chance to run in with the famed legend, "...I am very pleased to be a part of such an amazing project. I look forward to working with other great actors on a project I really believe in" - Nadia Ferguson. No word as of yet who Nadia will be playing on the show, all's we care about though is that she is locked in! 

        Other news turning heads on the show are flying in about Spanish Soap Opera star, Ariam Machado (Pictured above), possibly also joining the cast! If you don't know much about this Spanish dream lover you should quickly look him up online! First breaking into the scene as a model, Ariam became an actor on many Spanish Soap Opera's making him a recognizable face (and body) anywhere in the Latin America's! We're keeping our fingers crossed on this one! 

And as far as keeping our fingers crossed, we're all still waiting to find out if both Jesse Merced and Juan Manuel Rodriguez will be joining the cast! Jesse is still under contract with the show "Wonderful World of Bobby," but will be free of it if the show is not picked up for another season. As for Manuel (Pictured below), he was recently seen performing in the critically acclaimed off-broadway show, "The End Has Come." He hasn't given us much information on what his status is on the show. He is keeping all rumors exactly that- Rumors!

New cast members hired!! Part 3

We recently just had a run in (we followed him yelling) with COA director, Juan Eduardo Rodriguez. He was able to give us a verbal statement. " Coming of Age is a work in progress. We're blessed to have great actors locked in to the show completing half of the needed cast. Shooting will commence in mid January of 2008" - Juan Eduardo Rodriguez, Creator of Coming of Age.  We were grateful for that information but what we really wanted to know was the new found flying rumors that Eduardo's identical twin brother, singing sensation, Juan Manuel Rodriguez was approached by Pro Rod Productions for a slot in the cast of COA. No word as of yet if this is true or not, but it would not be the first time the two brothers work together on same project.

Actor/Model Jesse Merced, Having recently ended production on his latest project, "The Wonderful World of Bobby," plans to make COA his new found home (According to his publicist). Whether or not this will actually follow through depends on if "Wonderful World of Bobby" gets picked up for another season. 

 Karen Carvajal (Pictured Above) seems to be enjoying herself as she was seen in New York's celebrity club Pacha! She was seen dancing around the whole club closing it down with her posse of what appeared to be 20 of her closest friends. From what it looks like she was celebrating her freedom! Close friend and soon to be fellow cast member, Jorge Santovenia (Pictured below), was seen partying it up with her at the club. No one could stop this un-beatable duo!

 Nothing much to say about the situation with A.J. Miller (Pictured here leaving a club in Miami Beach) about his current status with scheduling conflicts. He is still in meetings with his lawyers and Pro Rod Productions to work out scheduling conflicts.

As for Nadia Furguson, nothing has been heard with her and as to whether or not she has signed on for COA.

The latest new on Coming of Age! Part 2

As the days keep passing, more news on the new anticipated series COA keep pouring in! We have word that Nadia Ferguson (Pictured to the left) has sat down with show creator and director, Juan Eduardo Rodriguez to negotiate contracts. No word as of yet if she has accepted the offer.

As far as the actors locked in on the show, we have only heard from Kristian Zambrana's (Pictured Left) publicist who told us Kristian has flown in already to Miami, Florida and has met with some of the production team of COA, including Juan Eduardo Rodriguez. Rising rumors are being poured in that A.J. Miller is having scheduling conflicts due to having signed on to another project which might conflict with COA. This news is saddening to us because A.J.'s fan base would draw in a crowd for the show 

As far as Karen Carvajal and Jorge Santovenia, they are both wrapping up separate projects up in New York. We believe leaving New York is the best thing for Karen since having recently ended her relationship with rapper, Felipe Santos.

What is "Coming of Age" ??? Part 1

With screenwriters on strike and major production companies not budging, Pro Rod Productions decided to press forward amidst the obstacles to push forward

their latest project, Coming of Age.

Coming of Age is the story of a group of persons living out their lives in South Florida. They are each dealing with situations in which they must come to terms in their lives (Hence, Coming of Age). As far as plot lines go we are completely in the dark. Coming of Age creator and director, Juan Eduardo Rodriguez (Pictured above) is working hard to keep all stories pertaining to the show a secret. He has though given us some small tid bits of production status (Not much to say as of yet). What we do know is that the script has been finalized.

As far as casting goes, Coming of Age has locked on some great actors. On the project up to now is professional dancer, Kristian Zambrana - Comical genius A.J. Miller - Fashion Diva, Karen Carvajal, and former child star Jorge Santovenia. Rumor has it that singing and dancing legend, Nadia Ferguson is in talks to join the cast! That would be amazing since we have not seen anything recent from her lately.
